Drink Water and Lose Weight!

Most of us know the importance of drinking water.  Apart from keeping you hydrated and flushing the toxins from your system, amongst other things, I have found drinking water  to be the single most beneficial  aid to weight loss. 
Now I don't know why, but I found that drinking water was the most difficult of habits to practise.  I had read an article on how water can help you lose weight and it made so much sense.  The article said that often times when your body is saying 'Im hungry' what it is really saying is 'Im thirsty'!  We are dehydrated, some times to the point of  damaging our health dramatically.  So, armed with this knowledge I consumed more water, and sure enough I started to lose weight.  The problem I had, as I have mentioned, was forming the habit!  It was a little hit and miss.  The way round this problem for me was to purchase a water dispenser, I measured out my daily intake every morning and made sure that I had consumed my amount by bed time. (The recommended amount of water to be taken per day is at least 8 pints)  Once I had formed the habit it was easy.  I feel  at least a 100 times better, and it is definitely the best tip out there to lose weight.

Weight Loss the Natural Way

So as I mentioned in my previous blog I have tried weight loss pills from the physician.  I had an absolute nightmare of a time whilst on these tablets.  Yes I lost an awful lot of weight, but the cost to my health was appalling.  (I later tried the natural weight loss approach, and discovered I actually enjoyed losing the weight as I felt so calm and collected)
At the time of taking the drugs I was a driving instructor.  Now as you can imagine, you need to be a patient and understanding individual.  I actually think back to these times with shame!  Whilst taking the drug to lose weight I was an absolute cow!  My patience was zero and the slightest little thing annoyed me.  Those poor kids, to this day I don't know how I came through with a business still intact.
I know every body reacts differently to drugs, and maybe I was just unlucky, but I doubt that!
My advise would be to always look for the natural weight loss pills.  People are having phenomenal success right now taking this route.  Combine this with a good book on a positive mind set and you really can not fail.
As a foot note to this entry, I would like to add that I had to wean myself off the drugs that I was taking and I went through another couple of months of hell.  During this time I turned to food for comfort........the rest is history!

This blog has been created in the hope of providing a fresh down to earth natural look at losing weight. I have yo yo dieted all my life,  I have tried every single program that was ever published,  (well maybe a slight exaggeration)  I have tried hypnotherapy, acupuncture, herbal pills and even diet pills from the physician.
I have had success failure success failure.  The one thing that shines through after all my experiences is the knowledge that unless you have a clear positive mind set, and absolute determination, you will undoubtedly set yourself up for failure again and again.
